On waking at Bujuku hut we were feeling the effects of the altitude; so much so that it was at first doubtful whether we would be able to continue. I took the camera and tripod out, keen to try to capture as much as possible if this was to be the furthest point reached. Giant Groundsel leaves were beginning to open up to the early light as it warmed the valley.
